Privacy policy

Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial (Ontario brokerage licence #11711) runs ReverseMortgageBarrie.ca. Put simply, reading these pages tells us next to nothing about you.

What gets recorded

• Nothing to fill in. You can't create an account, log in or type your contact details anywhere on this site.
• Tools that run in your browser. The Barrie calculator and the 10-question check work out their answers on your own device. What you type is not sent or stored, and it clears when you leave the page.
• Hosting records. Our host, Cloudflare, logs routine technical data, like the address of a page and the time it was loaded, for security and reliability.

When you click an estimate button

Each "free estimate" button leads to a form hosted on reversemortgagebroker.ca, which the same brokerage runs. What you type into that form falls under its own privacy policy.

Built into each button's link is a small label for this website and the page you clicked on. That label says which page was useful; it says nothing about you.

Emails, calls and texts

Messages you send are used to reply to you, and for mortgage help only when you ask for it. As a licensed brokerage, Homestead Financial must protect them, and so does PIPEDA, the federal privacy law that covers businesses.
